Wineries
The Finger Lakes region is home to many wineries and a few breweries. Leisurely drives on wine trails around the bucolic Cayuga and Seneca Lakes are popular ways to spend an afternoon away from the library. Many wineries are within a few miles of Ithaca, and one, Six Mile Creek Winery is within the city limits.

• Washington D.C.
  An easy six hour drive from Ithaca.

  Five hours from Ithaca.

  Four hour drive from Ithaca. Frequent bus service via Shortline.
• Toronto
  Different money, but the same language. In Toronto, it’s possible to see the latest Broadway show at a fraction of the NYC price, eat at fabulous restaurants, and experience the many cultural attractions of this Canadian city.
• Philadelphia
  A mix of historic and innovative, Philadelphia is approximately four hours away.
• Montreal
  Montreal is a favorite weekend getaway where visitors can indulge good wine, cheese, and the French language.
• Niagara Falls
  Hotels are available on either the American or the Canadian sides. Bring a raincoat or poncho though, the Falls can get quite misty.
