Getting to Ithaca is really quite simple. If you prefer to fly into the Ithaca airport, it’s easy to get a shuttle or taxi to your hotel. If you prefer to fly elsewhere in the area, renting a car and driving here is fast and direct. But if you will be taking a bus to Ithaca, getting to campus will be even simpler; Shortline offers three different pick-up/drop-off locations on campus and one only a few feet from the law school!

Airports

Tomkins County Regional Airport (Ithaca, NY)
The Ithaca Airport is conveniently located approximately twenty minutes from the Cornell Campus. It serves the following air carriers:

  • USAirways
    US Airways offers non-stop service to New York’s LaGuardia airport and Philadelphia; both of which are less than an hour in the air.
  • Northwest Airways
    Northwest offers non-stop service to their domestic and international hub in Detroit. Connections beyond Detroit include destinations all throughout the United States, non-stop service to Asia, and many other global locations.
  • United Airlines
    In agreement with US Airways, United reaches destinations around the globe by offering travelers to fly USAir from Ithaca and connect to United flights beyond Pittsburg, Philadelphia, and New York City.
  • Continental Connection
    Continental Airline will be coming into Ithaca starting in October 2008 with four roundtrip flights a day as Continental Connection to Newark, NJ.

Hancock International Airport (Syracuse, NY)
Syracuse is just over an hour drive’s north of Ithaca. It serves the following major air carriers:

Greater Binghamton Airport  (Binghamton, NY)
