The Advisory Council brings together invited graduates and other friends of the School. We seek to inform each member but also to receive advice and counsel with the following functions in mind:

  • Education - Presentations by faculty, students and administrators are provided on issues that are topical at the School or that promise to become significant.
  • Interaction - The Council and members of the faculty and students are provided with opportunities to get to know each other in order for a free flow of information to occur between the School and its graduates and friends.
  • Critical Comment and Input - The Dean, faculty and administrators specifically seek advice and help during the Council meeting and throughout the year with regard to the salient matters presented. We also seek counsel on the entire array of programs and activities the School is, or should be, involved in. This includes admissions, alumni and development, curriculum, hiring, and placement activities.
