If you were lucky enough to spend at least one summer in Ithaca, you probably recognize the Ithaca Farmers’ Market!
With the summer berries mingling with the late summer corn, fall cannot be far off. In fact…
FALL RECRUITING SEASON UNDERWAY
Our 2015 fall recruiting season began last week with our August Job Fair, which was held in NYC on August 3rd, 4th and 5th. The Boston and Washington DC Job Fairs are taking place this week, with various interviewing dates here on campus to follow in late August and September.
By the time you read this newsletter, most if not all of our formal recruiting events will be over. However, if at any point in the coming months you become aware of a summer or permanent position for one of our students, please do not hesitate to call me. I will gladly speak with you about the position, and alert you to any candidates with the preferred credentials.
THE CLASS OF 2015
Our at-graduation employment rate for the Class of 2015 was strong and up slightly from 2014. Yet, there are still some 2015 graduates seeking permanent employment. Just as with opportunities for current students, we are always happy to help identify candidates for you if you have an entry-level hiring need.
Interested in describing your practice to our students, but unable to visit Ithaca? Our “Career Conversations” series features recorded interviews with alumni discussing the ins and outs of their areas of practice. Interviews last only 20 minutes or so, and can be conducted over the phone. If you are interested in participating, please give me a call.
Until next time: Love to thee, our fair Cornell!
