Video Interviewing

Policy

Unlimited support is available to all students in need of a video conference. There is no fee to students to conduct interviews or sessions across borders.

Procedure

In an effort to assist students in need of private, professional video conferencing, Myron Taylor Hall features a state-of-the-art studio. In addition to production-quality lighting and high-defintion video and audio capture, the studio also includes support for a wide range of video conferencing technologies. These include, but are not limited to, Skype, Google Hangouts, WebEx, Zoom, BlueJeans, hardware-based IP conferencing and telephony.

Studio reservations are available on a first come, first serve basis. Bookings can be made by filling out the online Studio Reservation Form. Please make sure you have as much detail as possible about the remote site's details (contact information, date, time, etc.) before making a reservation. It is highly recommended that you fill out this form as least 7 business days prior to your expected video conference appointment.

Once a reservation has been submitted, Law School A/V will check to make sure the studio is available at the time requested. A follow-up will occur either way to confirm or ask that you choose another time. Once settled, Law School A/V will conduct a test of the connection from the studio to the remote site ahead of your form appointment.

Should you have any technical questions, please contact the Law School Helpdesk directly.
