Submissions are now closed for the September 12-13, 2008 Conference on Empirical Legal Studies to be held at Cornell Law School in Ithaca, NY. We thank all of you who have submitted papers. We anticipate another first-rate meeting of empirically minded scholars, so please plan to attend!
Authors who have already submitted papers may use the SSRN system to submit a revised version. To do so, please go to: http://hq.ssrn.com/conference=CELS-2008. (If you are not a registered SSRN user, you will need to create a login to SSRN, which you can do on the site.)

Scholars whose papers are accepted for presentation at the conference will be invited (but not required) to submit the work for possible publication in JELS. Papers submitted to JELS will be subject to the Journal's normal review process. In addition, the JELS editors expect to publish abstracts of all presented papers (including poster session papers) in the special issue (with author consent).
