Lara Freed is a Clinical Professor in the Lawyering Program. After graduation from Harvard Law School, she practiced litigation at Bingham McCutchen in Boston, where she represented corporate clients on a variety of matters and handled pro bono cases in the areas of child welfare and prisoners' rights. Ms. Freed joined the Cornell Law faculty in 2009 from Brooklyn Law School, where she taught legal writing and research to first-year students, and an upper-level legal drafting course. Ms. Freed is happy to be returning to Cornell, having completed her undergraduate degree at the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
