Professional Biography

Cheney Weyble is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. She spent the first few years of her career representing indigent domestic violence victims in administrative and family court proceedings. In 1999, Ms. Weyble joined the South Carolina Judicial Department, where she held a series of positions including Supreme Court staff attorney, Court of Appeals staff attorney, law clerk to the Hon. Carol Connor, and later the Hon. Jasper Cureton, both of the South Carolina Court of Appeals, and law clerk to the Hon. Donald W. Beatty, Associate Justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court.
