Diana Adams is founder and principal of Diana Adams Law & Mediation, a family law and mediation practice with offices in New York City and Albany, serving primarily LGBTQ, nontraditional, and non-marital families. Ms Adams speaks and teaches nationally about LGBTQ parenting, same-sex marriage and marriage alternatives, and the evolving structure of the American family. Ms Adams’ forthcoming symposium article Alternatives to Marriage: Legal Choice for America’s Diverse Families will be published by the Charlotte Law Review 2013. Ms Adams serves on the Board of Directors of the Woodhull Sexual Freedom Alliance, where she engages in legislative lobbying on behalf of non-traditional family structure and comprehensive sex education. She is involved with the National LGBT Bar Association, the LGBTQ Collaborative Professionals of New York, serves on the Sex & Law Committee of the NYC Bar. A graduate of Yale College and Cornell Law 2004, Ms Adams is thrilled to return to Cornell Law School to teach.
