Lance Salisbury, Legal Aid Clinic, is an attorney with a practice in Ithaca, New York. He received his bachelors degree from the University of Iowa in 1988. He also received a M.A. from the University of Iowa in 1990, a M.R.P. degree from Cornell in 1992. He received his J.D. from Cornell in 1996. His main area of work is in criminal and education law, and international human rights/rule of law issues. Before returning to practice in Ithaca, from 1999 to 2001 he ran a legal aid program in Bosnia and Kosovo. Prior to this he also developed and ran human rights and civil society programs in Liberia in 1997-1998 and in Somalia from 1993-1994. He will teach Criminal Defense Trial Clinic in the spring semester.
