Monica Ingram joined Cornell Law School on July 1, 2015. She previously ran the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid at The University of Texas School of Law for more than a decade. Prior to that, she worked as a staff attorney in the Investigations and Enforcement Department of the Texas State Board for Educator Certification, which is the licensing agency for Texas teachers. She then served as a staff attorney representing the Texas Association of School Boards, a non-profit organization that provides legal services to school board members across the state.
Monica received a BA, magna cum laude, from Grambling State University and a JD from The University of Texas School of Law. She has extensive board service, including membership on the BARBRI Advisory Board, Law School Admission Council (LSAC), Austin Black Lawyers Association, Austin Bar Association, National Bar Association, Student Leaders Pursuing Law Advisory Board, St. James Episcopal School and as an American Corporate Partners (ACP) mentor. Mentors assist military service members transitioning from active duty service. Most recently, Monica was appointed to a second term of service on the American Bar Association’s Standards Review Committee.
