William Buckley Briggs is Vice President of Labor Arbitration and Litigation for the NFL Management Council. He has taught a course on Sports Law at Cornell Law School since 1990.
Previously, Mr. Briggs served as Staff Counsel for the National Football Players Association/Federation of Professional Athletes and as Assistant General Counsel for the NFL Management Council. He also represented professional athletes in arbitration hearings.
Mr. Briggs has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toledo College of Law, Drake College of Law, and University of Pennsylvania Law School. He has also served as a Visiting Associate Professor at Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
He is admitted to the bar in the District of Columbia.
