Classroom Technology Support at Cornell Law School
Our Classroom and AV Department are here to help support Faculty, Staff and Students with using Classroom Technology and assist in event recordings and lecture recordings. Please have a look through our resources and procedures for requesting different types of classroom support and recordings. Each of the classrooms has directions posted at the Podium as well. If you wish to schedule a 1-on-1 training please e-mail the Law School IT Helpdesk to schedule this.

Audio/Video Recording Release Forms
So you have an event! You can Schedule your Audio/Video Support and Classroom Recordings while scheduling the room reservations.
You can use Meeting Room Manager (MRM) to:
- Check room availability in Myron Taylor Hall
- Reserve a room in Myron Taylor Hall
- Request Facilities Support (setting up chairs/tables, approval for catering, etc.)
- Request Communications/Publicity Support (digital TV displays, posters, etc.)

If you have an event or class that needs support or recording - not already requested in MRM - you can schedule support here .
Please allow 1 business day notice for AV support for classroom or special event presentations and 7 business days notice for after-hour/weekend events. Early planning will allow us time to schedule staff and equipment and insure the best presentation for you. Please note requests are filled based on IT staff availability. Absences (less than one week) for career events, interviews, and religious holidays require Faculty Member approval for recording. The form must be completed and signed before any recordings can be scheduled. All class recordings must be approved by presenting faculty via signature or e-mail.
Emergency absences beyond one week require the Registrar's Office signature and Faculty Member(s) signature. If you are unable to fill out/return this form please contact the Registrar's Office for assistance.
IT staff will make every effort to accommodate recording for emergency absences with at least 24 hours notice. Please bring signed request forms to the IT Help Desk, room 372, for scheduling. Please click here to print out the student AV request form.
If you plan on having an event recorded, please make sure you have the signed permission of the speaker(s) so that Cornell Law School may use the material. IT will not record an event unless we receive one of these forms before the presentation starts.
