Faculty and Student Organizations AV Request Form

You may request AV support for classroom or special event presentations. Thank you for allowing 2 business days notice for classes and 10 business days notice for after hour/weekend events. Early planning will allow us time to schedule staff and equipment and insure the best presentation for you.  Please note requests are filled based on IT staff availability.

Student AV Requests

AV support for emergency absences (less than one week), career events, interviews, and religious holidays requires Faculty Member's approval for recording. The Law School IT department does not provide any recording support for absences less than one week.  If a student is absent for less than a week, the student may make arrangements on his/her own with a classmate to digitally record the class. A supply of MP3 recorders are at the library reserve desk for student use.

Emergency absences beyond one week; requires Faculty Member's signature and Registrar's Office signature. IT staff will make every effort to accommodate recording for emergency absences if a student will be out for a week or longer. Please bring signed request forms to IT Help Desk, room 481, for scheduling.

AV Release Forms

If you plan on having an event recorded, please make sure you have the signed permission of the speaker(s) so that Cornell Law School may use the material. IT will not record an event unless we receive one of these forms before the presentation starts.
