The Computer Lab
is located on the third floor of the Law School--directly adjacent
to the Library.
Cornell Law School's computer lab is equipped
with the latest technology in assisting students with their work and
research. Highlights include:
45 Computers
Each computer features the latest Pentium Processors, CDRW/DVD
drive, Front Access USB ports, and 17'' Flat Panel Monitors.
Color and B&W Laser Printers
The computer lab contains 4 HP High-Speed B&W laser and 1 HP Phaser
High Speed Color laser printer.
High Quality Scanner
The lab also contains a Canon Scanner for easy digital input of
papers, pictures, etc.
The lab is open 24/7 with
card id access on the main door after 5pm.
The Consultants on duty
maintain and support the lab. The hours they works are as follows:
Monday-Thursday: 8am-10pm
Friday: 8am-5pm
Saturday: 12am-5pm
Sunday: 12am-10pm
The Consultant's job is to
help the students with any questions about the lab computers and
software.
The lab goes into maintenance mode on Sundays from
1am-6am. At this time, the computers shut down and all data will be lost unless backed up by floppy drive, flash drive or saved to the “student drive” on the
network.
