Campus
A block of 30 rooms have been reserved at the Statler Hotel on the Cornell Campus for Thursday, November 8, and Friday, November 9, with a further 10 rooms for Saturday, November 10. The Law School is a 5 minute walk from the Statler Hotel. There are student oriented restaurants in Collegetown which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The conference rate is $185 single/$195 double occupancy. Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-541-2501 and asking for American Society of Comparative Law Annual Meeting group block. Reservations must be made by 10/11/07.
Central Ithaca
There are 55 rooms blocked at the Hilton Garden Inn at 130 E Seneca Street in Ithaca for Thursday, November 8, and Friday November 9. The Hilton is located in downtown Ithaca adjacent to many restaurants and is a 20 minute walk up the hill to the Law School. A hotel shuttle is also available. The conference rate is $123.00 per night. Reservations can be made by calling 607-277-8900 or 877-782-9444 ( toll free) and asking for the American Society of Comparative Law Annual Meeting group block, or by going online to the reservation page and entering Group/Convention code ASCL. Reservations must be made by 10/09/07.
Near Airport
A block of 10 rooms have been reserved at the Courtyard by Marriott Ithaca at 29 Thornwood Drive, Ithaca for Thursday November 8, Friday November 9, and Saturday, November 10. The Marriott is located near the Tompkins County airport and is a 10-15 minute drive to the Law School and to downtown Ithaca. The conference rate is $143.10 for Thursday night and $124.00 per night for Friday and Saturday nights. A shuttle service to the Cornell campus is available 6:30 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling 1-866-541-3600. Ask for Courtyard by Marriott Ithaca and identify yourself as being part of the ASCL Meeting group. Reservations must be made by 10/8/07.
