With a collection of over 700,000 volumes, the Law Library houses one of the country's finest collections of printed legal materials, and provides access to numerous online services and free internet sources. It is the third largest library collection of the twenty Cornell University libraries and serves the legal research needs of the Law School, University, and transnational communities. The Library supports legal researchers by integrating access to print and online sources throughout the facility, and increasingly through its award-winning web site, thus providing access to information from anywhere in the world.
Our Library is proud to have received the AALL/West 2003 Excellence in Marketing Award for Best Public Relations Tool Kit. Other awards received have included the AALL 1998 Best Law Library Publication Award (Non-Print category) for Web site, CUL Fuerst Outstanding Library Student Award (1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2007), LegalOnline Newsletter Award, and five-star Rating for Foreign and International Law Sources on the Internet Web guide.
