More about this exciting Event:
Two of the largest affinity groups at Cornell Law School, the Latin American Law Students Association (LALSA) and the Black Law Students Association (BLSA), are once again teaming up to host a unique networking opportunity. The goal of the mixer is to strengthen the network between alumni and students of color and the Law School while offering a casual setting in which new relationships can be formed.
Last year more than forty alumni, students, faculty and staff attended the inaugural reception. Malissa Osei, a first-year law student, made very special connections at the mixer. “It gave me the feeling that I belonged to a legal community outside of my experiences in the classroom,” she said. “I hope these gatherings can become a tradition at Cornell Law School.”
We are excited to continue this new tradition and hope that you join us for great food, cocktails, and conversation.
What a perfect way to celebrate the New Year!
