Featured Speaker: Keith Palumbo, JD ’03
“Emerging Trends in Cyber Security - a Primer”

The presentation will focus on developments in Cyber Security with a focus on the legal community. Topics to be discussed include vectors of attacks, shifts in the focus and motivations of attackers, security best practices and how to respond, or assist a client in responding to a security breach or other intrusion.

Attendees may be eligible to receive up to 1 hour of New York CLE in the area of Skills. Attorneys in other states may apply for reciprocal CLE credit.

Technology Fee: $20 per person, CLE credit free of charge
(Newly admitted attorneys are not eligible. This is a non-transitional program.)

You will need a computer with broadband internet access and a phone to participate. Each person seeking CLE credit MUST be logged on with their own computer. Sharing computers is not permittted for CLE credit.

Please register ONLINE by Monday, January 13 or by contacting the Cornell Law School Alumni Affairs Office at 607.255.5251. Those registered will be emailed log in information on Tuesday, January 14th.

Keith Palumbo, JD ’03, Vice President, Legal Affairs, Cylance, Inc.
Keith Palumbo is Counsel and VP for Legal Affairs at Cylance, Inc. an Irvine based next generation Cyber Security company. A 2003 graduate of Cornell Law School, Mr. Palumbo has previously worked as a litigation associate at Kelley Drye and Warren, and at another New York City based litigation boutique, and as General Counsel for a Skout Forensics. Prior to attending Cornell, Mr. Palumbo was an investigator with the New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board.
