A very special THANK YOU to The Honorable Stephen C. Robinson, AB ’81, JD ’84 & Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom for sponsoring this event.
Two of the largest affinity groups at Cornell Law School, the Latin American Law Students Association (LALSA) and the Black Law Students Association (BLSA), are once again teaming up to host a unique networking opportunity. The goal of the mixer is to strengthen the network between alumni and students of color and the Law School while offering a casual setting in which new relationships can be formed.
Last year more than fifty alumni, students, faculty and staff attended the lively reception. As Marihug Cedeno, BS ’07, JD ’13, former LALSA president said “building a stronger alumni network for black and Latino students is a crucial undertaking. Seeing the Student and Alumni Mixer continue to grow and flourish is a powerful reminder of what a special place Cornell Law School truly is.”
We are excited to continue this new tradition and hope that you join us for great food, cocktails, and conversation. What a perfect way to celebrate the New Year!
