Any student interested in public service employment should consider attending one or both of these job fairs:

Equal Justice Works Career Fair and Conference

More than 150 employers from around the country gather for two days to interview second and third year law students. The Conference features career path panels presented by leading public interest law practitioners and workshops presented by public interest law student leaders. The Awards Dinner celebrates outstanding practitioners and students and features nationally-recognized keynote speakers. The office of the Assistant Dean for Public Service provides financial assistance to Cornell law students participating in this event.

Public Interest Legal Career Fair
Thursday and Friday, February 5-6, 2009
New York, NY

Nearly 200 public interest and government employers, the majority from the Northeast, participate in this Career Fair. Cornell students are also invited to attend the Cornell Law School Exemplary Public Service Awards Ceremony scheduled for Thursday evening, February 5, celebrating outstanding Cornell public interest alumni and students.
