Brooke Fischer (Cornell Law School J.D. Candidate '14) received a B.A. in Government and Politics and Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.  Prior to law school, she served as an ambassador for the University of Maryland and completed an internship with the Inter-American Development Bank.   

Ethan Roman

Ethan Roman (Cornell Law School J.D. Candidate '14) received a B.S. in Business Administration from Park University.  Prior to law school, he served for four years in the United States Marine Corps.  

Diane Furstenau

Diane Furstenau (Cornell Law School J.D. Candidate '14) received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MPhil in Politics from the University of Cambridge.  Prior to law school, she served as a corps member in City Year.  She is currently the secretary of the Public Interest Law Union and the Outreach Chair of Cornell Advocates for Human Rights.

Diana Biller (Cornell Law School J.D. Candidate ’13) received a B.A. in Political Science from Portland State University and has completed an internship at the United States Department of State.  Her areas of interest include conflict resolution and women leaders.

Tamara Hoflejzer

Tamara Hoflejzer (Cornell Law School J.D. Candidate '13) received a B.A. in Political science and Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.  Prior to law school, she worked as a legal assistant at a public interest boutique law firm in California.  She currently serves as the President of the Public Interest Law Union.

Mariloly Orozco

Mariloly Orozco (Cornell Law School J.D. Candidate ’13) received B.A. degrees in Political Science and Criminology from the University of South Florida.  She served as 1L Representative for the Latin American Law Student Association.  Currently, she serves as Vice-President of the Public Interest Law Union.

Pablo D. Ruiz

Pablo D. Ruiz (Cornell Law School J.D. Candidate '13) received a B.A. in History from Amherst College, and an M.Sc. in Political Economy from the London School of Economics.  He has worked as a paralegal at Davis Polk & Wardwell, where he worked on pro bono domestic abuse cases and cases dealing with women asylum seekers.  He has served as a Human Rights Clinic Liaison and is now the Vice-President of Cornell Advocates for Human Rights.

Mari Stonebraker

Mari Stonebraker (Cornell Law School J.D. Candidate ’13) received a B.A. in Theatre and Political Science with a minor in Religion from Florida State University. She has worked in political theatre and has served as an Intern for Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.

Sara Brady Tomezsko

Sara Tomezsko (Cornell Law School J.D. Candidate '13) received a B.A. from Loyola University and an M.A. in Feminist Literature and Theory from New York University.  She has taught English at St. Gabriel's College in Bangkok, Thailand, and has worked for several years in the financial industry for a small securities industry service provider firm.
