1. How will legal employers’ recruitment efforts change (fairs, information sessions, interviews, etc.)?
The Law School’s Office of Career Services, Office of Public Service, and Office of Judicial Engagement continue to work very closely with employers on maximizing summer and permanent opportunities for our students. Unfortunately, the realities of on-going travel and visitor restrictions, coupled with continuing uncertainty about future restrictions related to the pandemic, will require that all recruiting events, including the job fair currently scheduled for January 2021, be conducted virtually. We will be scheduling an information session in September during which more information about our upcoming recruiting season will be provided.
2. Are services like resume review, coaching, and job preparation available still in Zoom?
Absolutely! The Law School career advisors are available by Zoom and phone for a variety of career development services.
3. What is the guidance for student organizations who typically host recruiters on campus?
Student organizations that typically host recruiters must work with the Law School’s career advising offices to provide an alternative approach during the fall semester.
