Professional Biography

Mr. Golcuklu received his LL.B. from Koç University Faculty of Law (Istanbul). He is an admitted and licensed lawyer at the Istanbul Bar Association. He has two LL.M. degrees, one from Koç University (2013-2015) and the second from the University of Georgia (2014-2015, Athens - USA). He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Galatasaray University and teaches at Istanbul Kemerburgaz University as a Lecturer in the Private International Law department. He will become Asst. Prof. in Private International Law in 2018.

Focus of Study

Mr. Golcuklu has studied many topics regarding Private International Law and International Arbitration. He has been teaching International Transport Law, Basics of Commercial Law, Investment Arbitration and International Air Transport Law. His PhD topic, under the supervision of John J. Barceló III, regards International Arbitration and is titled "Anti-suit Injunctions in International Arbitration". The study will be published as a book in 2018.
