Carlo Maria Masieri is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Università degli Studi di Milano, Dipartimento di Diritto Privato e Storia del Diritto (Italy), where he also teaches seminars for Ph.D. students and co-tutors Law Degree theses. In less than six years of research, he authored several publications, among which there are 11 articles and notes on Italian law reviews, as well as the following scholarly book: Carlo Maria Masieri, “Linee guida e responsabilità civile del medico. Carlo likes to perform his research from a Comparative Law perspective. He is Fellow of Società Italiana per la Ricerca nel Diritto Comparato [Italian Society for Research on Comparative Law]. From August 2015 up to December 2015, he has been Visiting Student Researcher at University of California at Berkeley, Law School. Some time afterwards he was admitted into the “Law PhD Exchange Scheme” of the League of European Research Universities (LERU), and he has consequently been Visiting Ph.D. Student at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, Institut für deutsches und europäisches Gesellschafts- und Wirtschaftsrecht (Germany) in October 2016. Carlo was invited at Cornell Law School by Professor Mitchel Lasser for performing an analysis of the current legal framework of personal data concerning health, comparing the American Legal system to the European one.
