James Junewicz

After 37 years in private practice, in 2021 Mr. Junewicz joined the legal team at S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. where he continues to practice in the M&A and capital markets areas. Prior to joining SCJ, Mr. Junewicz regularly represented companies and underwriters in equity and debt securities offerings, focusing particularly on IPOs and offering of high-yield debt. Mr. Junewicz also has handled major M&A transactions and corporate restructurings, focusing particularly on the fiduciary obligations imposed by Delaware law on directors of public companies. He has been a frequent contributor to securities law panels. Prior to his private practice, Mr. Junewicz served on the staff of the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, most recently as Assistant General Counsel. Mr. Junewicz teaches Capital Markets Transactions and the Underwriting Process.
