Professional BiographyJonathan Siegfried is a partner at DLA Piper in New York City. His practice involves commercial litigation and arbitration with an emphasis in corporate law and cross-border disputes.
Mr. Siegfried has represented numerous US and non-US companies in federal and state courts in domestic and cross-border litigations as well as arbitrations under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, UNCITRAL, the American Arbitration Association and ICS1D. These matters have involved contract disputes, enforcement of letters of credit, asset recovery, international bankruptcy, accounting and valuation disputes, securities transactions, trademark and copyright disputes, oil and gas litigation and arbitration, real estate transactions and claims under 28 U.S.C. §1782.
He also serves as a neutral on the Commercial and Large Complex Case Panels of the American Arbitration Association and the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR), and as a party-appointed arbitrator in ICC, ICDR, CPR and ad hoc arbitrations.
