Rossella CerchiaAdjunct Professor of Law (Fall term) and Visiting Scholar
Rossella Esther Cerchia is a Professor of Comparative Law at the University of Milan (Italy). Her work focuses on comparative contract law and comparative tort law, having published four books and several articles in these areas of law.
Rossella is also the Coordinator of two the post-graduate courses ("Fashion Law" and "Legal Translation of English-Italian Contract and Business documents") at the University of Milan and been a Visiting Scholar at various academic institutions: several times at the Institute of European and Comparative Law (University of Oxford), at the East China University, (Shanghai, China) and at Hastings Law School, San Francisco.
Rossella sits on the Editorial Board of several law journals, is Associate Member of the International Academy of Comparative Law, a Fellow of the Italian Association for Research into Comparative Law (SIRD), a Fellow of the Association of Henry Capitant Des Amis de la Culture Juridique Français and a Fellow of the European Law Institute (ELI).
