Yes, the Marine Corps has a JAG Program! Log on to our Virtual Information Session on Sept 21st from 5:00-6:00 PM and learn about the opportunities and benefits of becoming a JAG (Judge Advocate - Lawyer) in the Marine Corps. Here, we will talk about the experience you can attain, lifestyle you can expect, and the opportunities afforded to you practicing criminal, civil, and operational law, as a Judge Advocate. In addition to this we will talk about the application process and timeline. You can apply to this program as a 1L, 2L, or 3L student, or as a practicing lawyer.

This information session is hosted by the Marine Corps Judge Advocate Program Officer in Charge, Captain Kameron Olsen. This event will also have guest speaker Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Saunders (Syracuse University School of Law 97'). Mr. Saunders was a JAG officer in the Marine Corps and continues to serve in the Marine Corps Reserves as an Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer with FEMA, all while working as an trial attorney for Nixon Peabody. We look forward to sharing the opportunities we have available and answering any questions.
