Cornell Law School 1L Clinic students, together with additional Cornell departments and Catholic Charities of Tompkins/Tioga counties, offers a free webinar on the new public charge rule affecting immigrants.
Presenters will explain the new rule and answer questions such as:
* Can immigrants get food from the local food pantry?
* Can immigrant children still get free school lunches?
* Will immigrants be deported if they go to the emergency room?
* Will seeking COVID-19 related care affect immigration status?
