
Panel: Sexual Violence Against Girls in Southern Africa
On March 4, 2013, the Avon Global Center for Women and Justice and Women and Law in Southern Africa hosted a United Nations Commission on the Status of Women NGO Forum Parallel Event, "Sexual Violence Against Girls in Southern Africa." The panel discussed this devastating human rights problem and strategies for addressing it, including, for example, increased gender sensitization of law officers.
