Domestic Violence Advocates Roundtable
To reflect on the impact of local domestic violence and human rights resolutions and to inform future efforts to pass and implement such resolutions, the Avon Global Center, together with Columbia Law School's Human Rights Institute, convened a meeting of advocates to take stock of the existing landscape and explore avenues to strengthen local approaches to addressing domestic violence through a human rights frame on May 28, 2015. The roundtable offered a forum to share lessons learned in building momentum for local resolutions, and drafting and encouraging the passage of those resolutions. The roundtable also offered an opportunity to develop strategies for implementing existing and future resolutions.
