Robert Wertheimer is a partner in the Real Estate practice of Paul Hastings. He is co-vice chairof the firm's Real Estate practice. Mr. Wertheimer focuses his practice on commercial real estatepurchase and sale transactions, joint ventures, development and finance matters, representingentrepreneurial investors, prominent real estate individuals and families, as well as institutionaland investment fund clients. He has significant international experience as well as domestic, andtakes particular pride in representing a number of not-for-profits and public agencies.As a speaker on current real estate trends, Mr. Wertheimer has taught a class on negotiationtechniques at New York Law School and has lectured for the Practicing Law Institute onconstruction finance and at Michigan Law School. A member of the New York State andAmerican Bar Associations, Mr. Wertheimer also has been active in the Association of the Barof the City of New York, having served on the Committee on Corrections. He serves on theBoard of Governors of The One Hundred Year Association.Mr. Wertheimer received a B.A. degree, with distinction, from Cornell University in 1976 and aJ.D. degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1979.
