Sarah Kreps received her B.A. from Harvard University, her MSc from Oxford, and her PhD from Georgetown University. Her research focuses on issues of international security, particularly questions of conflict and cooperation, international law and institutions, alliance politics, and nuclear proliferation. Her book, Coalitions of Convenience: United States Military Interventions after the Cold War, was published by Oxford University Press in 2011. Prior to graduate school, she served on active duty in the United States Air Force.
