I welcome you to Cornell Law School's on-line window into a vibrant and involved community. Since its founding in 1887, Cornell Law School has exemplified the ideal stated by President Andrew D. White:
"Our aim should be to keep its instruction strong, its standards high, and so to send out a fair number of well-trained, large-minded, morally-based lawyers in the best sense."
Cornell Law School has met this goal, being one of the top law schools in the nation, and indeed the world.
On this web site you will meet the people who are involved in maintaining Cornell's status as a premier legal institution. You will meet our faculty, among the most productive in the country in producing legal scholarship, and committed to inspiring our students in and out of the classroom. You will meet the students themselves. In addition to their own studies, they also produce numerous legal journals and organize symposia that bring top legal scholars to Myron Taylor Hall to discuss world concerns with interested members of the community. Through our Alumni site you will also meet some of our illustrious graduates and see their continued commitment to the Law School.
Please use this site as a stepping-stone to becoming involved in our legal enterprise. I encourage you to join in our conversations and become a part of our community, either electronically or in person.
