Professional Biography
Wei Ding is an Associate Professor at Harbin Engineering University, where she teaches Constitutional Law, Legal History, Public International Law, Principles of Economical Law, Civil Procedure Law and so on. She achieved her doctor’s degree of law at China University of Political Science and Law, and experienced post-doctor work at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Her recent research is focused on comparative study of constitutional review system, new rights and power, legal history, legal philosophy and culture. She has published two books: One is The Due Process of Law in the United State Constitution -------In A Historical Perspective in 2007, and another is The Basis of the Jurisprudence of the People’s Supervisor System--------The Research on the Judicial Democracy and the Due Process in 2010. She also serves for Heilongjiang Constitutional Law Society as vice president and Beijing Dehe Heng(Harbin) Law Firm as a lawyer.
