Aliza Milner teaches Lawyering at Cornell Law School. Her teaching and scholarship focus on legal writing, judicial process, and pedagogy in legal education. She also serves as a Lead Article Editor for Legal Communication & Rhetoric: JALWD.
Before joining the Cornell Law faculty, Professor Milner taught legal writing and civil procedure at Syracuse University College of Law and served as Director of Legal Communication and Research. She began her career in Maryland government, serving as Assistant Legal Counsel to Governor Parris Glendening and clerking for Judge Alan Wilner, Judge Andrew Sonner, and Judge Patrick Woodward.
