Biography
Kathryn Krause Wozer is a staff attorney with the Tenants Advocacy Program and teaches the Tenants Advocacy Practicum as an Adjunct Professor of Law. Kathryn began her career in Binghamton, New York, as a staff attorney with Legal Services of Central New York, where she represented low-income clients in a range of civil legal matters, including eviction defense, administrative hearings, affirmative litigation, and appeals to county courts and the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division. She credits her experience at Legal Services, and her dedicated colleagues there, with inspiring her passion for housing work. She is a devoted advocate for the human rights of those experiencing poverty and believes that safe, stable, and affordable housing is fundamental to basic well-being.
She is a graduate of the University at Buffalo Law School and Seton Hall University and is admitted to the New York bar.
