Neethu Putta is an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP. She maintains an active pro bono practice, particularly in relation to immigration matters. She has also been appointed to serve on the Minorities in the Profession Committee for the New York City Bar. Prior to joining Latham full-time, Ms. Putta was a summer associate in the New York office, and a 2018 Diversity Scholar.
While attending Cornell Law School, Ms. Putta served as the senior notes editor for the Cornell Law Review, as a board editor for the Moot Court Board, and as an honors fellow in the school’s first-year legal writing program. She also participated in a variety of Cornell Law clinics, where she successfully represented individuals in various immigration matters at the appellate level.
Prior to law school, Ms. Putta was a Teach for America corps member based in Providence, Rhode Island. She earned her BA from Tufts University.
