Biography
Noah Qiao is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Cornell Law School. He is the founder and CEO of Deepwater & Co., which helps private equity firms embed AI across investment cycles to accelerate fundraising, capital deployment, value creation and exits, and to build robust governance. He was previously a partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis, where he advised global private equity and venture capital sponsors on SEC registration, fund formation, GP strategic transactions, compliance, and SEC examinations. He was named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America (2024) for his work at the intersection of technology, finance, and law. He frequently speaks at industry forums on AI and its applications in private equity. He has also authored insights on Bloomberg Law and Law360. He holds a J.D. from Cornell Law School, an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, and a B.Com. from the University of Toronto.
