Yifat Naftali Ben Zion

Dr. Yifat Naftali Ben Zion is an Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer) at the Buchmann Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv University. Her research focuses on private law theory, fiduciary law, contract law, corporate governance, unjust enrichment, and comparative private law, with work also exploring ESG, institutional investment, and the application of systems theory to private law. Before joining the Tel Aviv University faculty, she was a Research Fellow in the Program on Corporate Governance at Harvard Law School. Her scholarship has appeared in the Yale Journal on Regulation, Connecticut Law Review, Tulane Law Review, Washington and Lee Law Review, and the Canadian Journal of Law and Jurisprudence, and in Oxford Studies in Private Law Theory. She is currently co-editing the Concise Encyclopedia of Fiduciary Law with D. Gordon Smith for Edward Elgar Publishing and is working on a new project on contractual negotiations in the age of AI.
