The Clarke Program in East Asian Law and Culture is committed to promote dialogue across cultures, continents and traditional disciplinary boundaries. Over the years, the Clarke Program has supported and encouraged dialogue in a number of ways:
- Through a number of international conferences, the Clarke Program has brought together scholars from numerous countries and disciplines to discuss topics in East Asian law and interdisciplinary studies.
- Our Colloquium Series 2015 bring together faculty, visiting scholars and students to discuss works-in-progress on law and culture in East Asia.
- Exchange programs with universities in Japan and China have encouraged dialogue among students
- Dialogue is at the core of our latest initiative, Meridian 180, a new multilingual online forum that seeks to transform transpacific communications among scholars, lawyers and market actors.
