Call for Mentors

If you are a Cornell Law School Alumni Mentor, thank you. Your continued connection to the Law School is greatly appreciated.

What is the Cornell Law School Alumni Mentoring Network?

A system through which alumni share informal job-related advice and information with students and other graduates.

How does it work?

Alumni mentors create a short on-line profile which can be viewed by Cornell Law students and graduates. The alumni mentors indicate how they would like to be contacted (email, phone, or mail) and how often. Then, student/graduate mentees review the profile database and contact mentors from whom they would like advice. Mentees do not expect mentors to know of job openings nor are they seeking on-going mentorship.

How do I Participate?

The mentoring system is located on Symplicity, an on-line job-search system to which the law school subscribes. To participate in the mentoring program, you can register and complete your mentor profile here: After you submit your form, you will receive a verification email from us. Simply click on the link in that email to complete your registration.
