A meaningful day at Cornell Law School.
The Cornell Law community joined distinguished members of Thailand’s legal community for the renewal of a Memorandum of Agreement first established in 2007, marking nearly two decades of academic exchange, professional collaboration, and friendship.
Dean Jens Ohlin and Cornell University President Michael Kotlikoff joined members of the Thai Bar, including The Honorable Chief Justice Adisak Tantiwong, and the Thailand Institute of Justice, including Professor Dr. Kittipong Kittayarak, LL.M. ’83, for this special occasion.
The gathering also included a tribute to the life and legacy of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha, LL.M. ’02, J.S.D. ’05, who passed away in June, and to her enduring commitment to justice and public service.

#cornelllaw Welcome, Class of 2029!
A new chapter began August 19 as Cornell Law School welcomed 218 students in the J.D. Class of 2029, along with 27 J.D. exchange students from international partner schools and 2 transfer students for the first day of Orientation.
From welcoming remarks by Dean Jens Ohlin to the Oath of Professionalism led by The Honorable Stephen C. Robinson ’81, J.D. ’84, students spent their first day meeting faculty and classmates, touring the Law School and beginning their journey as members of the Cornell Law community.
